Supporting Students

St. Catherine University is committed to helping students find academic and personal success during their time on campus. You can find a plethora of resources we provide students on the University Student Support page, some of which are called out below.

Student Resource Hubs

Every student at St. Kate's has access to a shell in Canvas called a Resource Hub. A Resource Hub contains information and helpful links on a variety of topics:

  • Getting a strong start on their academic journey.

  • Academic support resources available (such as the Library, tutoring, accommodations, and more).

  • Student organizations they can join.

  • Tech tutorials and support options to support tech needs.

  • How to use Canvas, St. Kate's online course platform, including how to download the Canvas app to a phone.

Please view the comprehensive list of all student resource hubs available to students.

Share a Concern for a Student

The purpose of this form is to share any non-academic (or overlapping) concerns for a St. Catherine University student. This form is reviewed and managed by staff in the Office of Student Affairs. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Student Affairs by emailing studentaffairs@stkate.edu, calling 651-690-6778, or visiting the office in Derham 305.

If your concern is primarily academic, please use Student Success to submit this concern or refer a student to campus resources.

The process for receiving these accommodations is flexible. The student meets with St. Kate's professional staff and participates in an interactive process where they talk through the student's diagnosis and barriers they have or are experiencing. Together, staff and the student will explore appropriate accommodations and identify resources that may be beneficial to the student.

To that end, the Money Management Program provides comprehensive information and resources designed to teach students the life skills of personal finance and money management.
