Please review the Understanding IT Support KB article, which guides you to the proper contact for various IT issues.

How do I....

Obtain hardware, software, or services that I need?

You can submit an IT Request in ServiceNow.  You can also download university-approved software on your St. Kate device using the KACE self-service for Windows devices and Jamf self-service for Mac devices.

Get help with something that is broken?

Report the issue so we can help you.

See what hardware and software are available to me?

Browse our catalog of available software and hardware:

See what other learning applications I can use in my courses?

You may find many other learning applications that would be useful and do not require a computer download by reading about them on the Academic Technology Tools page. (Note: Not all of these will be supported by St. Kate’s staff. See each item for details.)

If there is a particular application you are interested in and would like the help of an instructional designer, contact Academic Technology

Request software that isn't on the list?

To request software or hardware that is not on the list, submit an IT Request with the details about the software you would like to install, and IT Leadership will review your request during their weekly meeting. To ensure all software is fully tested in our standard environment, software must be requested at least 30 days before it is needed. Commercial software beyond end-of-life and/or any software without active support will not be considered. We will not install trial, demo, or similar limited-use software.

For more information, please see Software Installation – University Work Computers Policy.
