The Personal Support Center

The St. Catherine University Personal Support Center is your primary resource for all technical assistance and general IT inquiries. Contact them for immediate support regarding account access, technical outages, and general hardware/software issues. Call or chat for immediate assistance.

In-Person and Remote Support

  • In-Person Support: Visit the Tech Hub, located on the first floor of the Library (Lib 119). Please see the current operating hours.
  • Appointments: Remote video appointments can be scheduled with the Personal Support Center.

For guidance on routing various IT issues and inquiries, please consult the Understanding IT Support resource available in the Knowledge Base.

Requesting and Managing University Technology

Faculty can obtain, request, or report issues with university-issued hardware, software, and IT services through the centralized ServiceNow portal.

Obtaining and Requesting Technology

  • IT Requests: Submit an IT Request through the ServiceNow portal for new hardware, specialized software, or IT services not currently deployed. This is the standard procedure for most technology procurement.
  • Self-Service Software: University-approved software can be immediately downloaded on your St. Kate device using the KACE self-service (for Windows) or Jamf self-service (for Mac).
  • Software Request Policy: To ensure all software is fully tested and secure, all requests for new, non-listed software must be submitted through an IT Request at least 30 days prior to its use.
